چکیده

Spatial Analysis in curved spaces with Non-Euclidean Geometry

The ultimate goal of spatial information, both as part of technology and as science, is to answer questions and issues related to space, place, and location. Therefore, geometry is widely used for description, storage, and analysis. Undoubtedly, one of the most essential features of spatial information is geometric features, and one of the most obvious types of analysis is the geometric type an...

An Extension of Poincare Model of Hyperbolic Geometry with Gyrovector Space Approach

‎The aim of this paper is to show the importance of analytic hyperbolic geometry introduced in [9]‎. ‎In [1]‎, ‎Ungar and Chen showed that the algebra of the group $SL(2,mathbb C)$ naturally leads to the notion of gyrogroups ‎and gyrovector spaces for dealing with the Lorentz group and its ‎underlying hyperbolic geometry‎. ‎They defined the Chen addition and then Chen model of hyperbolic geomet...

A Non-integrable Subriemannian Geodesic Flow on a Carnot Group

AND Abstract. Graded nilpotent Lie groups, or Carnot Groups are to subRiemannian geometry as Euclidean spaces are to Riemannian geometry. They are the metric tangent cones for this geometry. Hoping that the analogy between subRiemannian and Riemannian geometry is a strong one, one might conjecture that the subRiemannian geo-desic ow on any Carnot group is completely integrable. We prove this co...

Parallel Transport Frame in 4 -dimensional Euclidean Space

In this work, we give parallel transport frame of a curve and we introduce the relations between the frame and Frenet frame of the curve in 4-dimensional Euclidean space. The relation which is well known in Euclidean 3-space is generalized for the …rst time in 4-dimensional Euclidean space. Then we obtain the condition for spherical curves using the parallel transport frame of them. The conditi...

An Introduction to Projective Geometry for computer vision

We are all familiar with Euclidean geometry and with the fact that it describes our three dimensional world so well In Euclidean geometry the sides of objects have lengths inter secting lines determine angles between them and two lines are said to be parallel if they lie in the same plane and never meet Moreover these properties do not change when the Euclidean transformations translation and r...
